The Diamond Valley Superules teams wear the Black and White stripes, similar to the Collingwood colours, and have chosen to recognise their affiliation with Banyule by changing their mascot from the Magpie to the Bear.

The Club commenced in 1982 and celebrated its 30th year in 2011.

Playing in the AFL Masters, Vic Metro Premier Division, Diamond Valley Superules has been the club for many famous ex-VFL and AFL stars who continued playing after their League careers were over.  Now it is the turn of a new batch of stars to take their place in the Diamond Valley colours and make a new history for the Club.

From 2013, home games are played at R J Brockwell Oval, off Beverley Road in Heidelberg (Melways Map 32 D3)
